Growing up

I grew up in the building industry, working alongside my father, who owned a small metal shop and specialized in building pole barns. At an early age, I was on the job sites doing hands-on work, gaining practical experience. I still remember the early days of metal installation, when panels were secured with nails—I often used vise grips to hold them in place to avoid damaging the material or smashing my fingers.

Leading a crew

Over time, I advanced in the trade and eventually led my own crew, installing metal roofs and building pole barns, continuing the foundation my father had established.

Getting married and moving to Canada

After getting married, my wife and I dedicated seven years to serving in a faith-based nonprofit ministry in Ontario, Canada. This season was shaped who I am today, both personally and professionally. During this time, I developed a deeper understanding of leadership, communication, and personal growth. I learned the importance of valuing individuals, listening with intention, and helping others overcome barriers to reach their full potential.

Commercial spray foam

Following this chapter, I got back into the construction industry. But this time, commercial spray foam roofing. As an SPFA Certified Roofing Spray Foam Installer, I worked on projects across multiple states, including New York and Iowa. While the work was rewarding, it required extensive travel, which often kept me away from my family.

During this period, I experienced a pivotal moment that brought clarity to my future.

While traveling to Wyoming with a friend, we stopped at a small metal shop. When I saw their roll-forming operation, I immediately recognized an opportunity that aligned with my experience and passion. That moment confirmed what I wanted to do. After discussing the idea with my brother, he encouraged me to start the business in Kokomo, Indiana where the opportunity was a great fit.

Move into manufacturing

In 2018, I re-entered the metal roofing industry—this time on the manufacturing side.

While I have a strong passion for construction and the metal roofing and siding industry, my greatest motivation is adding value to people. I am driven by the opportunity to help others grow, succeed, and achieve more than they initially thought possible.
